BETFINAL’S LOOK AT THE WEEKEND

The fairy tale story of the Champions League returns on Saturday night, as two European greats will seek to claim football’s most precious club competition. Liverpool will meet Real Madrid in the 2018 Uefa Champions League Final. The final takes place at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine, with kick-off at 7:45pm BST on May 26.

Salah and co. go up against the greats of world football, Real Madrid. Los Bloncos are aiming for a hat trick of trophies, winning the UEFA Champions league three times in row, as well as a fourth in five years. Led by talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, we all know that Zizu’s men are capable of winning the trophy without performing at their best. 

The struggle is real for Liverpool, Madrid won 3-0 at Anfield in October and 1-0 at the Bernabeu. While history suggest that Real Madrid will claim another historic Champions League, Liverpools unstoppable front three could cause major problems and be the key for unlocking Madrid’s leaky defence. 

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has lost all five major finals but will be hoping he can land Liverpools first Champions League since 2005; that unforgettable night in Istanbul.
